Why Southerleigh?

A house isn't a collection of separate pieces. It's a system.

Problems around a home are often connected. That discoloured wall, the carpet that never quite dries, the new window that still leaks — these may be symptoms of a problem somewhere else.  We look for what's actually going on, rather than simply treating the most obvious problem. We're not trying to sell you more work; good property maintenance is about solving the problem so it doesn't come back.

One job can involve several trades

Painting, plastering, tiling, carpentry, gutters and drainage don't always exist in isolation.  A repair that starts in one part of the house can uncover problems somewhere else, or require several different skills to put right. Where we can, we take care of the connected parts of the job ourselves, so you have one person to deal with for property maintenance rather than a string of different tradies.

Pragmatic property maintenance for real Wellington homes

Older Wellington houses rarely behave like new-builds. We work with the building that's actually there - including its quirks, limitations and awkward access. Uneven walls, ageing materials, previous repairs and years of weathering can all make a seemingly simple job more complicated, and sometimes the perfect solution simply doesn't fit.  That's where pragmatism matters: finding a solution that works with the house, rather than fighting against it.
